i have a 08 vista blue gt/cs and come october when i return from afghan i want to add racing stripes and replace the stock gt/cs decal on the sides with the same thing but different color. Of course the racing stripes and gt/cs decal have to match but i dont like the black because its not very noticeable. i was thinking maybe white but it seems somewhat common and i dont want to just blend in. maybe gold? what are your opinions?

 

i just posted a similar thread on this topic. 2011 is Ignot Sliver and i am bouncing back between grabber blue and matte black.

in your case with the vista i would go either silver or a slightly lighter shade of blue. that would be dope!!!

 

I also have a vista blue and have been thinking about stripes. Some sort of metallic silver I think would look nice on our color.

 

Yeah, I'm thinking silver would be your best bet. Gold might work but I'm having trouble visualizing that.

My dad has a vista blue 09 GT/CS with white stripes. He kept the black on the sides though. Actually looks fine IRL, because the black stripes aren't that noticeable. I think a silver or white looks best against vista blue.

i'm likeing the silver ideas, i think thats my best bet so far. once i get back to the states and go the decal place the guy there can take a pic of my car and show me how the colors will look on it so i'll double check then too

 

Silver vote here as well, if fact I would try and get them as close to anthracite as possible. If you go wheels down the road they would be matched well to the strips and would look good imo.
