Talking MGW does it again!

I wanted to get one of MGW's Power Outlet Plugs. I knew I wanted the GT one, but the one they show on their website doesn't exactly match the GT logo on our 'Stangs.

Notice that theirs has the GT lettering hollowed out, instead of solid.

So, I asked MGW to see if they could alter their design somewhat to match the GT logo on the fender. It took about 6 weeks or so, but they did it! I think it matches the radio controls perfectly! They even told me they might begin using that design instead of the previous one.

P.S. They told me it took awhile because they were tied down on the release of the 2011 shifter--good news, indeed!

They do make some great products and it is not surprising to see them doing a one-off request like this! I have the running pony plug in my car along with a gen. 2 shifter awaiting installation in the garage.

I like that! I may have to get me one! Did they say if and when they will be mass producing them?

They had to reprogram the laser etcher to do mine, which is another reason why it took that long to get it done. Since I'm assuming the program was saved, I would think all you need to do is ask them to make you one, too.
