maybe a new hood, drop her, maybe new wheels.
Tint the back lights maybe..umm... what else...

Maybe a nice matte black superstripe going al the way down.
Speaking of wheels, black wheels would rock with that those black accents you got going on there!

Window louvers if you dig em. (I do.) Maybe ditch the factory back fin or go with a ROUSH or GT500 spoiler.

Maybe some headlight splitters if you like those ( i dig those too on the GT)

Here's our old 06GT. Our stripes aren't the superstripe as you can see, they are racing stripes, but the superstripe would look awesome on you car.
Here's a pick of our old on just for some of the mod references.
Oh and I always love hoodpins on the GT's.

Here you can see the different stripes...
The window louvers
headlight splitters
black wheels
GT500 chin spoiler/splitter
Hood pins.

Here's a glossblack superstripe on your color
Again I'd go with flat black with the rest of your black look.
Remember not to wax the matte black. Use 303 Aerospace protectant
to protect it from the sun and fading but as you can see it looks great.
I'd extend the stripe all the way down the bumper though. It has i think 1/2 inch to 1inch pin stripes
following the superstripe which looks great. Don't get TOO think a superstripe if you want pins though, it
would look odd:

Yes, a shorty antennae is a must

I'm very interested in the quarter window covers and am sold on the Roush styling. I'm just not sure if I should get black or red ones.

The rear decklid is a good idea, I'm just trying to find one online that doesn't look like I bought it off the clearance row at AutoZone

Congrats and nice looking CS!!
If you are looking for a fun performance mod, go with the CAI/tuner combo from AM/Bama or Brenspeed. They are both very reputable companies to work with!

Hey Rocket, that's a damn good looking CS! I'm a big fan of the quarter window louvers, I have a pair of Roush louvers on my ride. Get it painted to match. I think a black side louver against a red body would stick out and distract from the other great aspects of the ride.

Black wheels! You might want to consider these:

Grab a shorty antenna too, it's only twenty bucks and makes a huge difference (it's surprising).

I think hood scoops look great on CS's. Definitely a wise decision.

The rear decklid panel is up to you. They work well on some design schemes/colors, don't work well on others.

As far as the spoiler goes, grab a GT500 one painted to match! They look flat-out amazing.

MadStang,

Is the wing in your picture the GT500 wing? That looks fantastic!

Haha thank you but no, it is not sadly. My wing was negotiated into the deal when my car was bought. It's a Xenon rear wing. The GT500 rear wing looks better in my opinion, but thanks for the compliment!

What does everyone think of this hood?

I reaaaally want a hood scoop / new hood but I'm afraid this could turn into a mess with runaway costs. I have no idea who I could get in the Huntsville, AL area to prep/paint the thing. The last thing I want is A $1k dollar hood/paint job by Billy Bob in his garage.

I think that hood with the striping looks sick! A really nice fit on the CS

Very nice looking hood.
A black out panel would be nice and I've never been too much of a fan of that spoiler.
A GT500 would look really nice.

Has anyone ever had regrets after buying an aftermarket hood? I must say, I enjoy the clean look the car has now and want to handle any mods I do carefully to avoid that autozone look. I pulled up behind a v6 full of GT dress up parts plus some (I identified most of the parts from AmericanMuscle.com) It looked B-A-D.
