Steering wheel emblem bubbling.

Steering wheel emblem bubbling.
The 3 bar pony emblem in the middle of my steering wheel has had a bubble under it for some time and I feel like I should take a crack at repairing it. The bubble covers an area about half the size of the entire badge. I would like to know if anyone else has had this problem and how they fixed it. I'd do a write up if it seems difficult but I don't think it would be too hard.

I have the same kind of problem the silver bars and the horse it self looks like its pitted but the black around it and the colors between the bars nothing just the silver part only i left it alone until it really looks worse than what it looks right now.

You could fiddle with the dealer to repair it if you have the extended warranty. I politely asked the dealer if they could do anything about it while I had them fix my lumbar support.. and they gave me an entire brand new airbag.. it even had the plastic on it 
Thanks Ford. I doubt there's anything you could do to fix it. All of my friends cars are doing the same.. and even my new one that I've had for less than a year is beginning to show signs of pitting.

Actually, I'd rather try to find one of the satin ones from the newer models and just replace it.
Know if they are the same size or anyone who would sell something like this. AM didn't have anything. (i was kinda expecting them to have a large variety seeing as this seems like something a lot of people would like to replace.)
Maybe something with a gt on it or something. Could always make something myself but I don't like working to make something I could buy from somewhere.

There was a tsb out for this a while back, it happened to mine also. Took it to the dealer and the airbag was replaced under warranty. Actually seemed kinda silly to me to replace the whole airbag just for a badge.
