It's a cloudy day here in Oklahoma. Blackout tail lights are not permanent. Ordered some Raxiom Smoked Tail Lights for her. Getting those later this week. Installed the Halo's myself. I think they look great. But are they legal?

 

I just saw a car on the expressway on the way in to work this morning. Tinted the tail lights. I have to say it is a good thing his third brake light wasn't tinted and that it worked. I couldn't tell when he hit the brakes without looking at the center light to confirm it. Once we started to move again (stop and go traffic) I could see a change in the taillights that showed that he had brake lights and they were lit, just really hard to tell from his running lights.

It started snowing here! So I couldn't get those night pictures as requested, sorry. I've only been pulled over once for them. In oklahoma, anything in the front of the back of the vehicle that is flashing, or solid red or blue lights "can be mistaken as emergency vehicle lights".. my ***. I've seen no cop with red halos, but alright edmond police.

I also just looked to see which ones I purchased. I got the 05-09 looking ones.. lets see if I can get them sent back for the 2010 style ones. *crosses fingers*.
