2005-2012 conversion
You will need to trim the opening behind the headlight, and either relocate your prop rod or get a gas shick hinge kit.If you aren't using our hood you will need to modify the striker which requires cutting and welding or using our striker relocation kit which we are working on right now. Also the shorud around the wipers needs to be replaced with the 2010 shroud. I had a guy modify his to work with the hood he got but we suggest replacing yours with a factory unit
Hmm....once replacement prices drop a little more on the newer 2010+ parts I may consider doing this along with replacing my 4.6 with the new 5.0. I just flatt out like the looks of the 05-09 better than the newer car, inside and out. Only thing I like better is the more aggressive front end on the 10-12 California special.
Many choices, build forged engine or front end swap!
I do have one request, can you take a pic of the where the door and the fender line up, please.
Thanks

I spoke with him too. My understanding is his car was in an accident and he may have replaced the core with the new core I'm not sure if he did it that way or not but it was talked about. There is no need to add a bracket if done the way we do it. These fenders are like any you will buy that will need fitment and body work. We haven't had any issues installing these, that being said this is a conversion that works best with our body kit if you are using the fenders with another companies parts they will work but may need some massaging which is why we recommend professional installation. Every installer will have his or her own unique way of doing the install. Adding brackets is fine if you feel it necessary. I have been in the car business since 1996 and can tell you every car is different, even factory parts fit different and always require work another reason we recommend professional installation.
