Two of the best 05-09's on the site for sure. Good call on painting.

 

Paint the cup only, leave the rest black or shoot it semi gloss again after you got rid of the mold lines.
Makes a difference...

 

Mine are painted all black to match the car. I think that looks better than not painted.

 

Finally got my mirrors back from the paint shop, can't complain because my painter didn't charge me for them. They look great! Sorry about the pics, to much snow here to take the car outside.

The install was easy, took about an hour. Really happy with how it turned out. Now I just have to finish the blackout treatment on the front end of the car and install my GT 500 exhaust.

I guess I'm a minority on this one, when I got mine that was my debate also and decided to leave them as is, IMHO I think they look better without painting on a black car, I have the newer generation and they look good. Again this is just me
