Default I did it.

been looking at wheels forever but i finally pulled the trigger!

got me the 18x8 AMR Machined wheels+tires, they are on clearance now and will be discontinued - yet they are my favorite s197 rim atm :S

seems like everyone likes teh charcoal versions, i think they look good too but I just love the machined ones the best, they got a unique color i think and i just really love them!

most people seem to hate them, but i think they look sick as hell!

can't wait to get the tracking number then refresh the page every 5 seconds til they finally come!

also my deck panel came in today, i will install that in a bit!

i was wodnering, will i be able to get all 4 wheels+ tires (mounted and balanced) in my backseat+trunk? (i gotta go pick them up from UPS since i live in an apartment) i had trouble with 17s and 18s i figure will be even harder since they will be in the boxes they ship in...

or should i take the wheels out of the boxes and fold my rear sets down and shove them in as tight as i can through the trunk and pray they all fit? lol - would they fit?

I'm almost certain I did just that in my 06, I fit a full set of tires in there. Take them out of the boxes and give it a shot, it can be done... Tight fit, but it can be done haha

Put blankets or sheets in between the rims so they don't scratch each other up, especially with it being a tight fit.

Those wheels look great! Post some pics after they're installed.

I recall having my 4 new tires in the Stang when I went to have them mounted and balanced. I think I had 3 in the rear seat and 1 in the trunk but regardless, I DID transport all 4 new tires there and all 4 old tires home.

A set of four 18" tires wont fit in the trunk of our cars. they will however fit with the back seat folded down and the p/s moved up as far forward as it will go.

can't wait AM said they a bit behind on mounting+balancing but it should be here in about 7-8 business days...

I got the amr 18x8 with 235/50/18 tires (those are the only all season tires they had and I want all season) they should still look good though right?
