Not sure how to get to the dome light bulbs. Just want to know if anyone had first hand knowledge of how it comes off and where the probable clips should be before I start breaking stuff.

 

There are two clips that push inward from the sides. I used a flat blade screw driver to gently push in from one side and then I gently pulled downward with my other hand. The other side will easily follow. Once that is down, there is a small harness that provides the power to the two lights. You can disconnect that, or leave it dangling. From there you can access the lamps.
