Default Headers

Anyone ever heard of Doug Thorley headers/ Jardine performance?
The company used to specialize soley in off road exhaust and now they have an automotive department. Anyways, the company recently tested my car with some of their new headers (which release 4/1/06). The headers sound deep on 2005. They also put on a set of axle backs and the sound is awesome, deep at idle and loud when you hit the throttle. There is absolutely no drone. I thought I would put this out there for some of you that do not know much about this product. You can call Sean at 951/739-5900.

Yes they have been around for a long time as well as Hooker Headers. Sure would like to hear a sound clip. Are they long tube or shorty headers?

No advertising. But I did get the headers for free and it was a good decision on my part and cool on theirs. As far as the sound, I will be able to get the clip soon. I have to go back to the factory for a dyno and to get the sound clip made. Since I have made other mods since the headers I have to take the new stuff off first and then go. It will be this weekend.
The headers are shorties and ceramic coated stainless and equal length. It may be best to get a richer tune with them installed it helps throttle response.

Anyone have ideas about how to get a sound clip made that will actually do justice? Also the best sound difference is at full throttle. We will. Also with the exhaust set up and Brenspeed tune/ JLT air, C5's are nothing. Yet, I still need much more to say that about a C6, But lets see what everyone else is using on their 05s and 06s
