Does deleting your spoiler cause dimples?
Im getting some warrenty work done on my car and wanted to see what it would cost to delete my spoiler, but the guy at the dealer told me that he didnt suggest it because it causes dimples and shows even worse on a black car? Is he talking out of his ***?

Im sure any good Body shop could take care of this for you, but why waste the money, and time, besides It prob looks better with spoiler anyway just my opinion.
^ what he said, I've heard that some use a little high test fishing line (after removing the nuts) and work it back and forth to cut through the 3M tape which is holding the spoiler on as well. Once through, a Little TLC, the spoiler should come off. Then use a little Goo-Gone and remove the residue and left over tape. It's just a matter of taking your time and not muscle the spoiler off after removing the NUTS! Again, if you do it just take your time. The fishing line I heard really works, also wear gloves. Otherwise you'll cut your hands up.
Well the holes have to be welded closed so the tape residue is not an issue since the whole lid will have to be repainted. If the hole isn't too big, you just put a weld blob and grind it smooth, otherwise they make a plug out of sheetmetal, weld it in, and then grind. In either case it should look like nothing was ever there unless you have a child or a monkey do it.
