Default Going slower than ever

A year and a half ago I was T-boned by a 500 class Mercedes while on my 04cbr1000rr.
Broken knee, 5000 torn ligaments, bike totaled. My wife was really shook up so no bike for me
for a while, my only option was to get a car to try to replace it. I get my stang, I love it,
I mod it, and I take care of it like nothing else.
Last week I get rear-ended by some guy sleeping in his Hyundai. Mustang's now in shop(at
least a week) and heres my rental. It is without question the worst car I've ever drove.

end of rant

PWNT.

Mustang driver reduced to a Cobalt rental.. Sorry man, I truly feel for you. I was dangerously close to renting a Cobalt when Walmart dinged my bumpers.

Does that rental come with bike pedals so you can merge into traffic easier? Sorry about the collision. That really stinks. Hope you get you're baby back soon and as good as new!

haha, yeah that's probably pretty lame, but when i had my accident i was renting a Lancer....i can see why some ricers like that car - it *sounds* like it can go fast.....but no matter how much gas you give it, it's still a slow piece of crap.

don't worry, you'll have your baby back soon enough!

The best I could get from the rental company when my car was getting its rear bumper replaced due to the actions of a stupid SUV driver was a Mercury Sable. I don't know how you could possibly design a more boring car than that. Hopefully you'll appreciate your Mustang all the more when you get it back.

Forget the cobalt, you're lucky to be alive after that bike accident!
I've got the '03 CBR600RR and I love that bike...the 1000RR of course is even sweeter...but I'm in the same boat as you....the wife says I have to sell mine- Last year I was riding with my buddy who lost control of his brand new 1000RR Repsol Edition and was killed. Bikes are no joke, they're supremely fast and will supremely 'f-up' their riders if not respected.

I hope you got a $hit ton of money from the insurance company of the mercedes that almost killed you.

I say look at that Cobalt and smile that A: you only have to drive that POS for a short time, and B: you're still alive to drive that cherry mustang.

(Pointless reply but I always feel for riders who get hit by people blatantly unaware of what's going on around them)

When my stang was hit, they gave me an Altima, I was extremely impressed with the power considering it was the 4 cyclinder one. Better luck next time.

Mine was in the shop this week... the rental I got didn't even have a name on it! It had a Chevy bowtie but that's all. According to the keychain it was an Aveo??? The reverse lock-out didn't work, the a/c-heater stayed on the whole time, and it smelled like an ashtray... all with only 24K miles on it!
