I currently have a billited upper and lower grille on my v6 with chrome edges. If i sanded the grille and had someone paint it black how do you guys think it would look? Perf white vert with black top.

Have it redone in black chrome. That would look sharp.

Don't paint the grill unless you want a maintenance nightmare for life; chipping, scratching, washing, touchup... UGH!!!! You could check on powdercoating; make sure their process is compatible with the billet you have.

What if it's painted Perf White and then given lots of clearcoat?
Photshop anyone?
Oh, and is your honeycomb grill completely removed? I saw some Roushes with the stock grill behind the custom grill!

Believe me; no way paint that grill; it is a "plow" surface through the wind and will chip no matter what you do. Using more than 3 coats of clear will make it even more subject to chipping, not less; if it is powdercoat compatible that is your way to any color. Me I hate every grill out there (OEM too) except the Saleen grill; ...but I don't want a whole Saleen fascia. later man.... Jim
