Default underdrive pullies: is it really worth it?

I just talked to evo performance and whoever I talked to told me the pullies were a waste of money and didn't make any noticeable hp gains. Is this true?

if it IS true, that means i picked up almost 50rwhp/tq with just an intake and throttle body (which many say doesnt see gains itself). i noticed a sizeable midrange rpm performance increase and much quick engine rev when i installed pullies

the argument that is more worth considering is that smaller harmonic balancer results in reduced engine life, tho this is def not a short term problem if it is one

You're going to get a good solid 10+ rwhp from pulleys.

And no, they do not effect your AC or alternator. You are not going to notice it unless you sit still for long periods of time in HOT weather.

Stupid question maybe, but won't smaller pulleys cause the accessories to burn out faster than normal?

Steeda Pullys work. They no doubt give you ten or more horses to the wheels. Check out www.brenspeed.com because I got mine

on sale and maybe you can too.
