Useless cupholders?
I'm not sure what a "floor shifter" is but never drive with your right hand resting on the shifter!
That's one of the first things i leaned about good racing habits. From Paul Newman, of all people!
I know it seems cool, but REALLY! It's an AUTO!
And for you stick guys: shift it and then hands back on the wheel!
Go to driving school and tehy will tell you that every time!

I noticed the same problem and I have an auto. I like to hang on to the floor shifter when I drive and my drinks are in the way. The cup holders are the perfect size though.

Likewise. I like to keep my hand on the shifter and my arm resting on the center concil, even though I have an automatic. Or course, when someone wants to race, its both hands on the wheel but when cruising, one hand (or no hands and on knee) is how I like to drive.

Solution: Don't use them as cupholders
Here's a better use from Steeda
