mufflers
Put some flowmasters on my gt. Can a stock gt muffler go on a v6 mustang? If so does it do anything to the performance or sound of the v6? Also wondering about the air filter in the same situation, gt-v6?

RE: mufflers
Not sure about that. But the pipe size for the GT is 2.5 inches. Dont know about the v6. Plus you have to worry about the hangers on the exhaust too. Dont know if the GT exhaust hangers will match up the same as the v6.

RE: mufflers
The GT take-off mufflers will fit a V6 05 on up Stang. I think they have to modify the hanger slightly (Bend). As for the sound, it does get a little louder and a little deeper but no HP / TQ gains.

RE: mufflers
Why is he selling his?
I noticed a little more HP and sound about the same at first, now seem a little louder. Kinda wonder what some others exhaust would've sounded like. Other than that I like them.
Now that I put 20" foose nitrous rims on, I've noticed that I lost some get up. That sucks!
