Default My first $100 Mod

The light really sucks today. Can't get a well developed photo. This is the best I could do. Got the wide stripes of eBay. Got the pinstripes from Napa. Got the clor scheme idea from Chip Foose. Not too awful for an amateur.

Soooooo. Nuthin?

No responses? Is it that bad? It's OK if it is. I want to know. That's the beauty of vinyl. You can change it. I can change it once a year for 15 years if I want to before I get to the price of having them painted.

Any opinions at all?

You sound like you're seeking affirmation or acceptance that you put them on. Heck, if you're happy, then you don't need anyones opinion.

I think they look great! - there....

Well.... Kinda am. I can't say I've ever put stripes on a car before. Not a lot of cars can pull it off. Can you imagine me putting a stripe kit on my Mazda 6???

I don't want to be the guy driving around in an Edsel all fat dumb and happy in an ....... Edsel.

Who better to bounce an idea off than other Mustang people.

Somebody else had to notice...but won't say I guess. Not knocking you... the color scheme is great but the hood stripes look wavy in between. Stripes are SO hard to do and get the gap correct throughout the car.

Having said that, you did a nice job for not ever having do it. I could not have gotten even close I don't think. If (and I mean IF) I stripe the car it will be installed by the local vinyl shop that does the police and emergency vehicles in the area.

Just my .02 worth.
