Default Floor Vent setting

Quick question to get a poll of what other 2005/2006 Stang drivers are getting to.

When you set your heat to floor only, do you still get air coming out up top by the windshield?

I haven't notice. I only used the heater setting a few times over the winter. I bought the Stang in June 2005. I sweat from the defroster on only. I warm the car up and set the defroster on and I just leave it that way until I get to work. I manage there is some heat coming from the top.

yes, its a known complaint. Too much air on top not enough air to feet.

ok thanks guys..
so it's not just me then.

it's almost as if the windsheild/feet setting isn't necessary at all in this case..
usually when you set to feet, it's all feet.

oh well

Like Country said... Mine gets me sweating just with the defroster on... I've never had any complaints of the car not warming up enough or anything.

I noticed that two of the dials do the same thing, even though they say different things.

It's not about the actual Heat, or amount of it.
I was more curious to see if other 2005 GT owners had the air split feet/windshield when feet only was selected.

from everyon'e answers, it looks to be like it's normal and I don't need to get it checked out

That happens to me when I run the defroster(windshield) and heat (floor) and then go to (floor) heat. Air still blows out of the top. I can fix it by turning the system off and then back to floor.
