id pay 25k for a shelby gt500kr any day if it were brand new...no question about it

CrimeScene, are you looking at the same numbers I am? All the GT and GT-equivalent models are in the low $20s...the GT500 and 500KR are significantly less than our GTs. Today the GT500 is predicted to MSRP for $40K. How is that the not "much different" than what they are today?

What I found interesting was the slight dip in the mid 70s to early 80s. It was easier to get a new Mustang then than today--albeit, the performance wasn't what it is today. Of course, in the 60s, you could get a Mach I with big block power/CJ heads and it only ran you $18K in today's dollars! Wow.
