I have an 05 red GT...love it! However with the price of gas up here in Canada ($1.03/litre) it costs me just over $250/month. I went into the Vespa dealership yesterday and looked at a 2 stroke 50cc that gets 300km on a 6 litre tank. And it's only $2500. If I finance it, my monthly operating cost, including insurance and gas is $125/month. Herein lies the dilemma. Does driving a scooter make me less of a mustang owner (read:man)?

Hmmm no,why would it? Your doing what you need to do to save money,nothing wrong with that.

True I could find a decent used "real" bike. But then your insurance goes up. My insurance quote on a 50cc scooter is $25/month. A motorcycle, I looked at my uncle's 1978 Yamaha 750, was $80/month. This is all about cost efficiency.

Stripes are cool. However the guy at the dealership was honestly trying to sell me a mod exhaust system for another $800! Makes it go faster! I'm partial to the sticker "My other ride is your mom!"

 

will stripes void the warranty? can you get 22" rims on a vespa? for 2500+800 for exhaust i could fill my tank all year and not look like a homo....lol. do what you need so you can have a badass mustang! you will take some heat though.
