Duct tape.

I'd say just pick one up off of ebay or Mustangtuning.com It's worth $15 - $20 to not have to worry about getting it to look right and possibly screwing with your recetion. I got the 8" shorty off Mustang Tuning and still have perfect reception and it looks a lot better than the 4 foot thing that was on there before.

Is the AM reception as good as the stock one? I listen to a fair amount of Sports talk and don't want to lose that.

Driving around NYC my antenna works perfectly... But once I leave the city and go upstate a little I lose some channels and reception goes down a bit. Its not that bad though. I would get the shorty

My 8" shorty picks up AM/FM all around DFW w/o any problem at all...got it from MustangTuning about 6 months ago.

get the 14 inch antenna from mustang tuning instead of cutting it. I tried the 8 inch and had a little bit of a problem with reception.

I like the 14" better for looks too. It matches up well with the roof line. I've considered a power antenna and still am I guess. I don't know if there is room for it and I'm a little undecided on the look. -Joe

do you need the adapter that comes with the euro or do you just screw it on?
