Default Am I doing something wrong?

I have posted a few technical questions over the last few months with very few responses, wheras similar threads got tons of traffic. Pictures of bone stock mustangs and trolls seem to get hundreds of replies, but when I've asked a technical question on this forum, I get crickets. What gives? Should I look elsewhere for help?

Yes, you must keep your thread active and make a direct point on what your question is. If people are unsure of what your question is they will just back off, also if you post the thread late at night the response is going to be very dull until the next day. You are also best off bumping the thread up if no replys have been made by just stating 'bump' in a quick post on that thread. Your chances of a responses should be greatly increased and again make your topic grasping so people come check it out while making your point!

Ah, so maybe an exciting subject line like "2007 SHELBY FOR 35K!!!!!" might get some attention. Nah seriously, I do appreciate the help a few people have given. Just trying to understand why some threads get more attention than others. Especially the ones that come up every single day and get hundreds of replies i.e. "Will my Borlas drone or void my warranty?"

Yea, I will agree that certain topics continue to get plenty of ear and mouth time despite being reposts of reposts of reposts of reposts. lol. I believe during a 3 day stretch a while back we had about 5 or 6 different threads that popped up about "scoops and louvers". But I guess alot of ppl are more heavily into certain things right off the bat so they gravitate towards every topic that pertains to those things. Exhaust, rims, tuners, and body accessories can get alot of attention.......even if everything in those threads has been BEATEN TO DEATH. lol
Again, don't sweat it. Try to see if you can make the search function work for you if you can. And if that doesn't help then just keep bumping your topic till someone gives you some kind of input or points you in the right direction. Persistance my good man, persistance gets you the worm.

Remember, there are a lot of people with personal opinions, and a lot fewer people that have years of technical experience and the knowledge to respond to a complex technical question......Just an observation....
