Default Does lowering the car help?

Guys (and girls) with lowered stangs, does it reduce body roll dramatically? Are there any springs that wont void the warrantee on the car?

Springs won't void anything. And, yes, it's very noticable in helping with the car's 'roll'.

Yup, it definitely helps with roll. Besides, the stance looks a lot more aggressive as well. You may want to consider some dampers and struts should you lower the car, it can get a little bumpy on bad roads.

If you want to reduce body roll you can also go with a bigger anit-roll bar on the front and rear.

You may also want to consider adjustable shocks. Tokico D-Specs do a nice job and depending the setting can actually improve the ride.

I completely agree that this should be a valid statement. Unfortunately, I do know of someone that had issues with their diff. and the dealership fought with them saying that their was no warranty because he lowered the car and it changed the pinion angle.

I agree 100% with pcdrj above. The Tokico shocks DSP-12 are awesome. Combined with eibach springs the ride is definitely better than stock. Without the shocks it rides like a brick. I wouldnt recommend to anyone putting just lowering springs and leaving stock shocks and struts on the car. The cool thing about the shocks is you can adjust them under your hood or from the trunk based on the ride you want that day.

I agree with hawgman. Yes it will help, no it shouldn't void the warranty BUT... It really all depends on the dealer. One dealer will argue everything and always try to blame any changes you've made to the car as the cause of the problem or at least a contributing factor, while another will take care of issues like that in hopes to keep a customer happy. It depends largely on your relationship with your dealer. It's funny when people ask the question, "Will it void my warranty?" When in fact the only person that can answer is the dealer you take it to for service. -Joe
