Default "Posing" as a V6

I have a V6 and I got it to save money. I work and travel so much now that I never got to use my 4x4 and was wondering why I was paying $550/month on a truck I never used (yeah I could've saved more money but I missed my old Celica and still wanted to be a little sporty!)

Anyway, although I don't care about the whole GT vs. V6 thing (I'm 37, don't care about who can go faster than me and think it's kind of funny) but I had a thought. Personally I like the pony badges on my fenders a lot better than the GT badges, so why not reverse the pose! I could just see some GT putting on pony badges and posing as a 6er then laughing as he blew doors on people!

That would be funny. Better yet, take all the emblems off so no one knows what it is.

i have seen a fair share of pony badges on gt's

actually, i was originally supposed to get a gt, and i wanted to put the pony badges on them because i thought that they look a lot better (this was in 05 so there was no pony package yet)

I've actually though about getting the Pony badges, I just like ponies I guess! For the front grille I actually like the Cervinis grille without the fog lights, just a pony badge on the driver side.

I actually prefer the pony badges to the GT badges also. I have them on my 98 mustang......and have considered replacing the GT emblems on my 05 with the ole' tri-bar emblems. Of course, if one is really looking to confuse and create a true sleeper........having no badges would be the way to go. Too bad you have to weld up holes on these new cars to achieve that.[>:]

My 05 GT came with the GT badges on the sides and the pony badge on the trunk. Anyone coming from behind thinks I have the v6. I don't know why Ford put it on there, but anyway I still have it on there and don't plan on changing it out for a GT badge.

In the next 2 years or so when I get a supercharger I want to get the "GT" badge changed to a "GTS". I'm not sure how that would look but anyone who wanted to find out what that meant would have to find out the hard way.

I have the Pony badges on my Gt because I think they look better and are more retro to the look. I even had a guy ask were I got the dual put on.
