If you really want that, there are a ton of them out there. Just walk through a parking lot and take note of a few cars with a similar bumper profile. Then grab a couple of that make/model at the junk yard (maybe $10 a piece). It's just plastic; shape what little you need to for a perfect fit and "you done man". It doesn't get much easier than that. I should make up a dozen and put em on EBay. ahhh... summer's almost here; that's a winter deal.

I had the same conversation with the sales guy when I bought mine. A nice, MUSTANG SPECIFIC holder would have been nice from the Ford folks. What I really don't like is that the plate sits right in the middle of the lower air intake for the radiator. That can't be too good for air flow through the nose of the car.

Yeah, I really don't like how the front license blocks most of that opening either, but I wouldn't put a license bracket even if they had one! I had one on my 300M for a couple of months, when I took it off I found out that it had scratched the bumper a bit, didn't look right anyways. On our Mustangs, how would a license bracket look like? something that comes down from the upper grille and attaches to the opening in the center of the lower grille? Just having a hard time picturing how one would look like for our cars, might be way Ford didn't make them.
