Tints and Louvers installed
Well I will tell you a story so you do not make the same mistake I did...
I got the louvers and went to get them painted. I actually went to Ford and got them painted there for $150. They came out perfect. I got home and went to put them on but guess what? The backside was not painted. So if I was to put them on it would look horrible from the inside to see an unfinished tan louver. So me being the impatient person that I am had left over car spray paint and i just real quick spray painted the back side myself and let them dry. Bout 2 hours later I am watching TV and it hit me, I didnt mask off the other side!!!! I ran out and checked on them and naturally the spray paint had went on to the nice finished side dulling the paint. I tried buffing it out and even using some paint thiner to get rid of it but to no avail. I had to bring them back to get re-painted. This time I took them to a body shop. They said it would be like $100 but since they were already painted they would have to re-sand and re-prep them so it cost me another $125 to have them done.. Lesson learned... So I suggest either you spray paint the back of them before you take them to get painted or you pay a lil extra and have them do the back for you. Also becareful not to ruin the tape on the backside.

Hello, I am looking into getting myself some of those louvers aswell. I was wondering how much can you see through them from the interior? Just wondering how much of my blind spot checking I'd loose.
A picture from the driver's seat would great. Thanks.

I have them ready to be put on my car. I would have had them on before but the body shop guy wanted the paint on the car to cure first for a couple of weeks. He painted the inside as well. There is a little room for you to look through to check your blind spot, but isn't that's what the huge side mirrors are for? They are more than adequate to adjust for your blind spot. I guess Ford got was ahead of the ball on that one. I guess they figured we would be covering up that quarter window so they gave us bigger mirrors.
