Default Regarding Hood Pins

I want some, because the car needs them and they look good. SO

1. What are some of the popular brands.

2. Which ones DO NOT rust.

3. Is there anything "Mustang specific" about buying a set of pins? I wouldn't think so, but who knows?

4. Any reason not to get aluminum?

I too have been seeking the hood pins. I have the same questions as allfyre. If anyone has any suggestions I would also appreciate it.

Yo! I'm glad to see that I shall not face the villiany of no-hood-pins alone. We shall be victorious in our quest to get those damn wicked awesome hood pins!

For shizzle, good sir. And so begins our quest for the illinest pins in all the land. I have heard the elders speak of pins, wrought of titanium and forged in the fires of Mount Smokey, but I have searched far and wide across the internet and could find no sign of them, and I am besieged by hood-pin "appearance kits" at every turn.

I am going with the CDC Hood Pins, when I get around to doing more visual mods. I need to get my 4.10 gears, LCA's, UCA, instant center kit, and panhard bar. THEN the hood pins and the S/C will be next in line.

And let those pieces of **** rust away on my beautiful baby? Hence, I'd rather pay $50 more.

Guys,

Welcome to the world of hood pins. They are really easy to install and look awsome IMO. Several of us here have gone with the Ford Racing Hood Pins. I really like the look, but some of them have shown some signs of rusting, but not all of them https://mustangforums.com/m_1263972/tm.htm
