Probably true, but it looks really funny.
Hugh? [sm=smiley25.gif] Is that a your best attempt at a comeback? OK.

Thats the nice part about owning both a Z and a Stang.
I can present my unbaised points of views.

True, but then I'd have another $4k to spend to upgrade my stang
Is there no end to this madness???!!

Yes, stock the Z handles better than a stock S197. Yes the S197 can pull on the Z.

My point was more about the value and how relatively inexpensive it is for me to mod the stang.

And the Z still does look funny

Oh, and my stang has been driven to within 2/10's of its <current> limits and it completely kicks a$$.

I've tested my Zs limits and if it had the same upgrades, it could even be better than an upgraded Stang.

The 350Z coupe is alright, but the convertible looks horrible!

Nah... you're still biased. I can tell by the way your'e leaning toward the 350Z. lol. The 350Z is nice. I actually like the G35 coupe the best...almost bought one...then I drove the stang. I have to agree though the handling in the 350Z/G35 is much better.

350z is "exterior is aesthetically challenged " ....

lol, just a nice way of saying it's ugly.... so true
if u think the outsides are ugly (which I dont, but whatever dude) you should see the insides! There is nothing there...... just flat black nothing. and its not even made out of anything..... real.... im not sure what the crap is in there, but there is nothing going on. I guess it would be the perfect car for people with ADD

Oh yeah! Its definitely less expensive to mod a Stang than a Z.
When I got my NISMO exhaust, it cost me $1100 (including labor and tax) to install, but I love they way it sounds now. The stock exhaust just didn't cut it for me.
I'm currently working on adding an intake (NISMO $330) and plenum spacer ($250) so I think I got a pretty decent deal ($580) to install everything.
That should pretty much be all that I'm going to do to my Z so then I can concentrate on my Stang.
As for the Stang, I just ordered a DiableSport tuner ($319.99) so I can't wait for it to come in.
The next thing after that will probably be an intake, 4.10 gears, drive shaft, and exhaust. CHA CHING!!!! CHA CHING!!!! CHA CHING!!!! CHA CHING!!!!
Total all that, and it would probably equal my $1,100 NISMO exhaust + $580 intake and spacer.

I'll have to admit that I've been babying my Stang, but at track day in a couple of weeks, its no holds barr. YEAH BABY!! YEAH!!

You know, I think my Mustang looks funny too I think its been hanging out with my Z too much. Those jokesters!! They're always trying to be funny with me.
I didn't tell the Z that I was taking the Stang to the track so I hope the Stang keeps it quite because my Z is going to get really jealous.
If I could just find way to clone myself, then I could take them both. Oh well I'll just have to deal with it and promise to make it up to my Z.
