What do you guys use for cleaning and conditioning leather seats?

What do you guys use for the dash? I figure just some armor all would work but I wanted to here some experiences you guys have had.

Meguiars Gold leather conditioner wipes. They keep the leather looking new. For the dash I would just just a moist cloth or the armor all cleaning wipes. I have found in the past armor all (rubber spray), makes the dash grease and attracts dust. It does shine well but I find that it is more of a pain in the a$$ to keep up. I have been using the cleaner instead.

I read in the Ford book about the leather having a protective coating on it. Are the Meguiars wipes ok to use on this coating? I have never owned a car with leather seats so I am trying to be very cautious on what i put on them.

Also for the lenses on the guage cluster do u guys use windex? I have always used and I havnt seen any negative effects but I wanted to make sure. I screwed up a computer monitor with windex because it stripped the anti glare coating off. I dont want to make the same mistake a second time.

by protective coating, do you mean a factory coating, or the extra environmental package? not that either matters. Megiuars has about the most affordably awesome products there are. as for armor all, the wipes tend to over-moisten things. just use the original armorall spray. if you DO use the wipes, use the cleaning, then the protecting. dont just use one. creates more like a mud than protective coating. and it builds and builds.

The owners manual just say the seats have a clear coating. I am not sure what it is.

The armor all I just want to use to keep the dash looking new and to avoid and cracking issues down the road. Is armor all the best product for that? I really dont want a glossy shine either.

For the leather, I use Zaino's "Leather in a Bottle", but I have heard that Meguiars works well also. I use armorall spray on the dash and doors, but just make sure not to get any on the glass, cause it makes a mess. I've never really cleaned the gauages, so I can't tell you what will work the best.

For the dash I use Mcguiars low luster vinyl protectant. I hate that shiny look.

I found that Meguiar's not only makes great exterior "Quick Detailing" products in both the regular line and the Nxt Generation line, I really like the Nxt Generation line, but, they make similar products for the interior. Made my interior surfaces on the GT and my PU look really great! For the seats, I've been happy with both Lexol and Meguiar's products, leather and vinyl. Please note, the only leather on the seats is the seating area and the back area, all are "framed" in vinyl.
