Personally I would have never thought ANYTHING would look good in tow behind a stang, but that tear-drop with that paint scheme just looks sweet I would like to see how the hitch looks when its usd, and hidden though.

very cool.

I used to tow my ski boat with my 2001 SS Camaro all the time.

I'm going to have to go with the less popular opinion and say that that is pretty cool. The flowing lines and matching color may be a bit much, but I would love to see some pics and information on the setup.

Here's a little something for those of you who think anyone who tows with a new mustang is a red neck. We installed a hidden hitch, so when we're not towing there's nothing ugly hanging off the back of our beautiful car. We have gotten nothing but positive comments from people who see us on the road...they happen to think it looks pretty cool, and so do we!

You do what you have to do. if I didn't have my F-150 I would definetly put a hidden hitch in my Stang to tow my Jet Ski besides, you never know when you're going to need it.

Bollocks to all the negative comments!
That is a great example of someone who is Car Crazy! I hope they find you and do a segment on the Mustang and the trailer!
It's nice to see someone who makes the best out of what could be a difficult situation. I mean who the heck wants to drive an SUV? Or be seen driving one? I'm not a soccer mommy! But i would love to be able to go camping and the GT just doesn't hold enough! Please give us more photos. Maybe a video tour of the trailer?
Or hey, can I just borrow it to go to the lake or river this summer???

Who makes a hidden hitch for the Mustang? I see our manual says it can tow up to 1,000 lbs. We have a large trailer we use for our motorcycle that we feel its large enough to use behind the mustang so plan to put a hitch on it. I think our trailer can carry as much if not more than the Mustang's trunk as the trailer is 28cubic feet inside. We make our bike look small as we are both 6ft tall and weigh...well never mind!

Here's a pic of our bike and trailer, everyone that sees it says MAN thats HUGE!

Pic taken before we finished up the trailer kit...yes we put the trailer together ourselves as it comes as a kit.

icesk8r, would you mind posting the info on the trailer?

Your setup looks sweet as hell, totally turned my expectations on their head. Slick.

Here are a couple of pics of the Hidden Hitch (with and without the trailer ball). Hubby will post a reply with more info on towing, installing, etc....when he gets a chance. Info about the trailer can be found at www.tab-rv.com
