Default Plenum cover pony emblem

Does anyone know where I can find a pony emblem for the Plenum cover?
It isn't the same one as on the grill, this one is smaller, like the one in this picture:

I think it is from an earlier model mustang grill like a '99. I just want a silver one, not the fancy painted ones.

Thanks

Not sure if that will work or not, can the pony be separated from the bracket?
Also wondering how to attach it. Would like to have a pony with pins that can be attached through holes in the plenum cover. Otherwise, I can use hot glue but am wary of heat under the hood and the glue.

Just ask the folks at midwestautogear.com. They told me it comes off a late model year Mustang ( pre-05) but i can't remember what year.

Got mine off ebay for $20....same as the one in the first post....it is off a '00-'04. You can get them easily on the internet. Just snip off the plastic pins and it'll sit flush....use hot glue or whatever....I used some sort of a caulk and it has never moved.

I had the local dealership order mine. What you want is an 04 pony grill emblem. (The pony is smaller than the 05 model, and fits the Plenum cover perfectly.) It comes attached to the mounting bracket, but can be easily removed. I was nervous about trying to mount it with glue, so I carefully pried the round retainers off the pegs, drilled holes in the plenum, and then installed the pony the same way it was mounted to the bracket.......

Thanks, I will give it a shot. I initially thought I would put my 06 emblem on it (got a gold mane one to replace it), however it looks too big for the plenum cover. A smaller pony will definitely work better.

Could always try JB Weld to hold it on, don't have to worry about heat with that stuff
