Default Power Shifting problems

Anyone having this problem???

When I power shift ( change gears with the gas pedal on the floor) I get a loud noise at the end of my shift that sounds like the belts slipping as they try to keep up. Anyone else heard of this>?

Are you sure it's not the clutch slipping?

Hope you have an aftermarket clutch lined up for purchase......cuz yours will be fried pretty quick at that rate.[:@]

I always lift throttle when shifting, even when running hard. Are you saying that you stay on throttle (floored) during your shift?

lmao have you ever thought that rubbery sound you hear is your tires churping when your powershifting and with the fly-by-wire TB setup we have on these cars theres no way you could even stay on the throttle when changing gears it would just bang off the revv limiter in a instant

Not if you are a good power shifter and shift fast you wont hit it.

sorry but 9 times out of 10 its just gonna bounce off the revv limiter then in about 10k miles if you make it that far your gonna need a new tranny

well your right there power shifing isnt the best thing for your tranny. and i was just being sarcastic about the being fast thing. but if you do have a tune you can shift at 6000 and you can set your rev limit higher to compinsate for the over rev in the power shift.
