Howdy...just trying to get a feel for all the Texan members here. If you're from Houston fill me in on where you get work done, car clubs, etc... I'm still shopping for the right shop to do my engine and suspension work. Anyone have any experience with houston performance?

Any other texans out near Texas Tech on this site?

I'm in Kingwood, and there are a couple of other folks on this forum that live here as well. As for performance shops, Slater's is on 1960 east of 59N (Eastex Frwy) and they seem to do great work.

I have had Team Ford do my hood, grille, & body work, and they also did great work.

Fellow Houstonian, live in the Spring/Woodlands area...I haven't needed a tune shop as of yet so couldn't help you with that one.

 

I live north as well, in the Toimball area. I have not had anything done yet but I have been looking at WOODLANDS PERFORMANCE & SUSPENSION

Cypress here. Joe Myers did my suoercharger I did the rest myself so far. I have also heard good things about Slaters. If I can ever figure out how to calabrate my speedo without voiding my Roush warranty I will probably have them install 4:10's

I live in the Woodlands, texas and i do all my own work, dads a mechanic and has a huge shop and well i learned a few things and take advantage of it.
