About how much hp and torque do you think just a CAI and Predator 93 octane tune will give me. I drive an automatic if that helps. Just wondering becuase I found a good deal that will get me about 100 bucks off of a Diablo Predator tuner and considering buying that package instead of just buying a CAI for now. The package will come with either C&L CAI or S&B CAI and either a Diablo or SCT tuner as the 2nd part of the package. Its 500 bucks. If you could also say which combination would work the best that will greatly help me make up my mind.

 

C&L with SCT tuner. Although either combo is probably going to produce the same results. A CAI and tune can give you up to 30rwhp.

 

Thats about what I thought, but just wanted to make sure. Any opinions about either tuner?

 

Wait a second, you have a diablo tuner and you're suggesting me a SCT, why?

 

I was running the diablo 93 and CAI and baselined 287 and 302tq before my custom diablo tune which put me at 305 and 333. Standard trans. I love the Predator tuner personally.

 

Now thats what I like to hear. I hope my numbers will be that close with my auto trans.

 

I suggested the SCT since it uses USB. My diablo is serial and i don't even have a serial port on my computer anymore. I had to use my dad's computer to download my tunes. I can say that i'm happy with the results from my diablo tune. I'm not sure one is better than the other though. I'll leave that for someone else to answer.
