Default Pssh sound?

Now that the weather is nice and I'm driving top down most of the time, I've noticed a semi-regular psssh sound from somewhere under the car. Anyone know what this is and if it's normal? Fuel pump maybe? This is an 06 GT Convertible.

I don't know, but when I put my automatic in reverse it makes that same sound until it warms up!

+1 so you have two people saying it is. unless the ac is off? with the top down i'm not sure if you are blasting the ac, or just letting the wind cool ya

A/C was turned off. It definitely sounds like a pressure valve opening up. Does the fuel return valve make a noise? I'll have to poke my head around this weekend and see what it is. Everything works fine, so it's more of a curiosity in understanding how the new toy works.

Well, I finally got around to messing with this, and it is indeed the A/C compressor clutch. The thing that threw me was that it can kick in when you have the defogger on even if the A/C button isn't lit up.
