Default SCT Tuner/traction control question

Can you mod the computer with the SCT tuner so the traction control stays off all the time even on startup? Because it reads on their site trac control on/off thanks.

Default RE: SCT Tuner question

Hello all,

I own a KB SC and SCT calibrator (the basic version), as some of you may know, it comes with F (factory, P1, P2 and P3.

KB programmed P1 = 8PSI, P2 = 10 PSI.

I just have reflashed for first time the PCM with P2, and noticed something that perhaps is normal.

After the re-flash ends, I noticed that the TRAC CONTROLL was OFF and heard a "blink" sound telling me in the message center "CHECK TRAC CONTROL". If I press the TC button nothing happens.

Until know beside the above the car run normally, I just would like to know if there is special issue or something to be aware due to the message center error. As long as the car is notaffected at PCM Level by this message it does not matter to me at all. Anyone knows anything regarding this?

The SCT was provided by KB and not time to verify with them if they ask that the trac control to be turned off as default for P2. P1 runs normally even allow me to swtich on/off normally the trac control.

Best Regards.

I was just thinking the same thing, but its not that hard to reach up and press the button to shut it off

but when you do have shut it off all the time, you get a traction control error every time you start the car and it gets old.

If you disable it in a tune, you can not enable by pressing the button, you would have to go back into the tune and re enable it.
