The rear speakers are the same size as the front door speakers. 5x7.

Standard Ford issue 6X8's - a size common to many Fords. Don't buy the 5X7/6X8 universal fits - they are smaller - only get ones labelled only 6X8.

Will replacing the speakers improve the sound quality? Last time I upgraded speakers and left in the factory head unit, the new speakers made the head unit sound awfull. It took about 10 seconds before I walked back in and dropped more $ on a good head unit and amp.

Anyone replaced and happy? What did you purchase?
