hey guys, i am in the market for a radar detector bc now that i have a stang, im gonna be going a tad faster on the roads haha. wat kind do some of you have? cuz i no that troopers are using "lasers" now radar detectors dont pick them up. is this true? if not, wat kind of detector should i get that wont crap out on me and that can pick up lasers before its too late to get caught. ive heard belltronics has good ones but im not. i just wanted to know b4 i went out and spent $300+ on one.

I have a Beltronics Vector 995. $300 bucks at circuit city, it is a laser/radar detector and it DOES detect laser. Been warned on laser trap twice already. Its very sensitive without many false warnings.

really good warning distance! From what i herd its one of the best for that price
