2006 GT Mustang/1/2 inch play in steering wheel
HI Nu to forum and need some answers.
I've got 2006 GT Mustang with 800 miles on odometer, there's 1/2 inch in steering wheel, is this normal??????

There shouldn't be any play in the steering wheel!
I didn't notice any in mine...
Hell.. my 93' Explorer 4x5 only has maybe 1/2 play after 131,000 miles - many of them off road!
Take it to your dealership and have it checked out!

no play on mine either, and I have the base 17's with big sidewalls. When you say play, does it have normal resistance at the steering wheel, and just not turn? Or is it loose for about a half inch before you get any resistance in the wheel? Either way, it sounds like a trip to the dealer should be in your future.
