DVD Player with Headrest monitors
I like to go for long drives with the family in the Mustang and my kids would love the drive if they could watch a movie or play games.
Has anyone installed a DVD player and headrest monitors in their Mustang?
What is your opinion of putting them in a Mustang?

I don't know if I would personally put them in mine.
I would just get a portable player for them to use.
Cheaper and no chopping up your seats.
If you do it , post pics though.

If your kids are already comfortable in that small space, Best Buy has a double LCD player on sale this week for $179.
Each screen would hang from the headrest posts and has its own headphone jack, not sure where you would wedge in a video game console though.

I talked to a place and they said they would be able to install it in a way that if I wanted to I could return it to stock.
The only place they have to cut anything is small slit in the rear part of the console compartment so that they unit will fit into the cavity in the back. The headrests have wires that run through the post and down through the seats and come out the bottom.
I've seen some of the cars they have done and they do a very professional looking job, they look like it was originally equiped with it.
He said about $600 - $650 for everything, two headrest monitors, DVD player and install.

There's very little back seat space as it is. You'd almost have to put the DVD player in the trunk, and I don't know where you'd put the video game deck if they wanted to play a game. We've got a van for that junk!

We got dogs. Thought it was a better idea than the kids. Besides, we can put them in cages.
