Default Anyone had this problem

I have experienced a miss or hiccup after cruising on the interstate for awhile. Usually on a long trip and after using most of a tank of gas. It only happens when I pull off the interstate and stop then as I hit the accelerator the engine hiccups before taking off. Only happens then and does not repeat itself until after another long interstate drive. I have used the my predator looking for a trouble code and nothing is ever found. I don't want to go to Ford and have to put my stock setup back on and reflash it.

Any ideas?

I had the same problem and I found out that there's a TSB for it. Dealer replaced the fuel pump with a better one, so they said.

Here's a link for the TSB http://www.2005stang.com/gallery/alb...hesonaccel.pdf

Hmmmm

I have had the same problem. Drive on the freeway for 40 minutes then try to pull away from a light after exiting the freeway and you would swear I dumped the clutch without giving it gas, embarassing. People think you missed a shift or can't drive. Then after it does it that one time it doesn't do it again until I have driven it on the freeway again. I was wondring last week if the heat was a factor, but based on the TSB I guess not. Looks like another trip to the dealer.
