So...you go down to your local Hertz Rent-a-car, plop down your $149 to $199 a day rental fee, plus full insurance for the Hertz Shelby...then comes the genius part. You call them up and tell them that someone stole their car

Then you have a choice, either sit on it for 7 years (statute of limitations), part it out, sell it in Mexico or Canada, paint it and drive it unregistered or with borrowed plates from your other Mustang, make it into a parts car for your other Mustang...

But before you can decide....you WAKE UP...your heart's racing, adrenaline's pumping...and discover it was only a dream...not reality. And then you remember all those movies about what life is like behind bar's....whewwwwww. I think I like the way my car is slowly coming along after all

But as for 7 years, this IMO is kidnapping, not GTA - so no SoL for you (well, you will be SOL)...

I think stealing stangs of any form should be elevated to a capital offense... I will treat it as such if I find you trying to steal mine...

I hope no one took that dream seriously, and I shared it only for humor's sake. No drugs, chilli powders, voodoo spells, sacrificial lambs or muppet characters were involved in the making of that dream.

I think it was too many re-runs of "Gone in 60 Seconds"

But in all seriousness...I did just get to sit in a Shelby convertible about 30 min ago Nice...very nice. But the moment was ruined when the salesman shamelessly admitted that they were going to mark it up $35,000, but decided that $20,000 was probably more realistic. Even at that price...$65,000...it SOLD!

As nice as it was, I'd give the left one to have my '68 GT500KR back. But sadly, that was parted out by whatever low-life-scum-bags decided that they needed it more than I did. At least I can say that it gave me a full year's worth of memories.

Anyway, sorry to anyone who might have taken offense or did not find any humor in my dream post...it won't happen again
