Default RE: How do you reprogram remote to unlock both doors at once

ORIGINAL: Stone

I love that if you hold the unlock button it will roll down both windows man that comes in handy on a hot day.
I am very, very glad I don't have that on my 06. I had that on my old LS and it was the worst option ever, and I will explain why. One day I got home, locked my car, put my keys on my pocket and went inside. It then preceeded to start raining. Later that night, approx, 4 hours later, I went out to go to the grocery store. My windows were open. I had somehow inadvertently put pressure on the button inside my pocket and opened the windows. So not only was the inside of my car soaked, but all of my cd's had been stolen out of my car.

You can have the feature turned on with the OBDII scanners at your local autoparts store. The feature is called something like "Global Remote Function"...just turn it ON.

***Caution***
The feature was disabled by Ford because windows were rolling down on their own, so try turning it on sometime when you can park it for a day or two and monitor it (in dry weather). It may be ok, but I'd test it first so you can turn it back off before dropping windows on a rainy day.

Can any of the 2006 models have this feature turned on? Is there any way for this to work on my 2006?
