Has anyone used the Airaid CAI system? They claim they got an additional 17HP without using a tuner. I was wondering if anone has any input on this.

We just installed one about 4 weeks ago on the GT and there isn't too much of a difference during normal driving but there is a BIG difference in WOT. We also saw a 2-3mpg increase!

 

Had it on my 06 for about a month,couldn't tell any HP differ.Got rid of it and bought a CandL with Brenspeed 91 tune.
Very big diff.I feel I wasted my time and money on the airaid.

 

Its a great intake and works great with Doug's Bamachips tune. I bought it because you initially don't need a tune. It has a venturi tube which can make more power when removed for forced induction applications.

 

Do you still have it? If you do, want to sell it?

 

05BlueGT... don't you already have a CAI?.. or are you looking for one on your wifes GT?

 

Sure am........and if you really get 2-3mpg more, that would be better on her gas bill.
