Default LED Altezza Lights

Can any one tell me if the sequential chase lights from Meter4it Eng will work with Altezza LED Taillights. I bought a set from Mustang Tuning and they did'nt work. It had a different setup. I spoke to Meter4it and they said that know one has tried it yet. Any thoughts

While I normally believe you should use what you like, i'd have to agree with you in this case.

Oh hell – come on guys, don't disrespect they guy for his lights, he likes what he likes... different strokes for different folks.

They may not work... LED lights have a considerably lower draw then incandescent lights do. Unless there is a specific resister inline, the sequence controller may not recognize that the light is there (a process used to trigger the burned out bulb syndrome causing your flasher to flash in triple time!) and so go into “bulb out†mode and not trigger for the flash.

But, if your mustang works correctly already, then they should have the resister in place and so the meter4 controller should also see the circuit.

However, I would venture to bet your aftermarket lights wont’ follow to the letter, the factory wiring specs, and so you may have to use some intuition to install the meter4 system.

While I tend to agree about the rice factor, I won't flame a guy for liking something, that's his choice. However I will note that I really like the look of LED tailights on most cars that are not this altezza style. Has anyone seen any mustang LED alternatives other than this one?

If I got the Altezza's I'd get them for the LEDs and cover it up with blackouts so only the LEDs shine through. If there were more LEDs (instead of 8 per rectangle) I would actually consider doing this.
