Default TECH: Looking for Brighter Headlights for 05/06 Stangs

I went on a big hunt for Sylvania's Silverstar H13ST bulbs today. No luck. Got home and checked their website and they are not even listed there anymore.

Has anyone upgraded their headlights? If so, what did you upgrade to? I seen a pair on blueoval.com from BLUE WHITE but I have not heard of them. Plus I don't car about blue tint. I want brightness but not $400 HID's. I drive to work in the dark and during the winter, it's dark to and from work. So I want some bright lights for the backroads.

Don't know if you actually want different, brighter headlights or just be able to see better at night like I did. If you haven't already, re-aim your headlights. They come WAY too low from the factory. Made a big difference with me. Prior to adjusting them, I wouldn't drive at night without the fogs on.

Just in case you didn't know.

Thanks for the tip but I actually do need brighter. I live in the "country" and the backroads have no lighting at all and deer are everywhere. I need some bright ones.

Check these headlight replacements out.

These are the foglights to go with the headlights.

They seem like they could look really awesome, but havent seen em on a stang yet. Dont know if anyone has em.

You might want to try the Saleen HID kit.

Thanks for taking the time to kick in some links but as I said in my original post. No $400 HID's. Too rich for my blood.

These are the same ones on blueoval.com but direct from the factory. Anyone tried these?

HID's man, i can never live without em... I live in Hawaii, and most roads arent lighted.. so having my 8000K HID conversion kit from stangmods.com (only $299.99) really improved my night time driving for me.. you wont be dissapointed...

Where are you finding HIDs for $400 ? I cant seem to find any but the ones that Saleen sells for $900. Although, I just read this thread that said he got some for $300 from Stang Mods. I'll have to check 'em out. I have HIDs on my show truck and I love them. I want some on my 05 Stang now. Thanks guys
