Default Rattle on passanger side

Hey guys I am a new owner of a Mustang GT, but have been reading this forum for a while. I picked up my ride in July and have just over 1,000 miles on it. About a week after I got it I noticed a rattle on the passanger side. I remember seeing a thread at one time about this same problem, but haven't been able to find it. Can someone tell me if they know of a way to fix this problem? I love the car and everything is perfect except that one rattle. Thanks!

I believe it's the bracket or something for the Airbag. -- Everything rattles, I stopped caring.

In my car it's the glove compartment itself. The rubber thingies that are supposed to hold it are not doing their job. Just hold the glove compartment with your hand next time the rattle starts. If it stops then that's your problem.

It might be the GLOCK 19 in your glove box...

Try moving it under the passenger seat!

Have a passenger listen for the exact location would be my advice!..

Way too many things can cause rattles, you just going to have to track it down!

OK Thanks. Sounds like each Stang has its own quirks. My normal fix is just to turn up the radio, but I hate having a rattle in a brand new car.

Mine has a rattle that comes from the trim around the shifter (auto). I can put my hand on the trim and it will stop. So I think you are right, every one may have a different sort of trim related rattle. Nevertheless, there is one TSB out there that I saw for a loose exhaust pipe hanger/clamp where the tech is supposed to bang on the pipe and if it rattles, tighten the thing.

Good luck.
