I hate to say it, but with that aftermarket T/B, get use to it. I finally put my OEM one back on and no more safemodes.

Mine was doing the same thing. Turns out it was the stock throttle body. Even though yours is an aftermarket, it's probably still the cause of the failsafe. These cars really don't take well to even small changes in the airflow. Since you were revving it a lot, this makes the chances even greater that it's the T/B or throttle position sensor. I don't think there are a lot of causes for the failsafe mode. Most problems will just throw a CEL. If it's the T/B, Ford will refuse to fix it and you will probably have to put the stock one back on.

Remrats,

HOpe you've got it fixed - go back for the hotties!!!!

Second the grill!!! Would love to have it for my 07 (when it arrives). So reminds me of my 66 GT Fastback - bought Dc 65. What a ride. Now can't wait for my 07.

yup thats where i got it, and its so incredibly easy to put on u just snap it on, but i dont kno bout the TB because i had a friend who is a knowledgable car guy look at it and he said it shouldnt be the TB, then he did something to reflash the ecu to see if it was just something in the com and that didnt work, my dealership opens back up tomorrow and we will see ill let everyone kno what happens...and dont worry for those who say they wont fix it....they will....i wont leave untill they do
