If not could you send a link to the one yall have? My dads gettin a shelby (white w/ blue stripes) as his daily driver and hes gunna mod it up. First mod would probably be the hurst shifter. Thanks guys.

Yes, the Shelby has a 6 speed, so the GT shifter will not work in it. Hurst may come out with a shifter for it, only time will tell

There are two available for the GTs: the "Competition/ Plus" is the one most people have, the "Billet/ Plus" is fairly new and has adjustable stops and is a bit beefier.

 

If you've only heard good things about the Hurst shifter then you haven't heard BlownGt's opinion...haha. From what I have read on this forum, the current hurst shifter will shorten the throws but it is not much stronger than the stock unit. I was going to wait until they came out with the billet unit but its release has been delayed. I know a lot of members here are happy with their hurst shifter and it serves their needs but I opted to go with the Pro 5.0 which is a beefier unit and supposedly the better performance shifter.
