Did you shift into second and were you using your right foot on the brake and gas or did you just hit the break hard with your left after taking it off the clutch? Is it impossible to start a burnout in second? I'm guessing it would be bad for the clutch.

well i powerbrake my car alot, not the mustang but my nissan 240sx so ive gotten good at it but uh yeah basically, you can do a burnout in second... actually thats how you get more smoke, if you really want to roast your tires and fry your brakes that long lol....
actually yeah i just moved my left foot over to the brake after i dumped the clutch and held the thing at 6 grand, then when i let off the brake took it up to around 6500-6600.
is there an a less abusive way to powerbrake a manual car lol?
